Master Molecular Life Sciences: Admission

You will be admitted to the course if you have one of the following:

  • a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Life Sciences/Higher Laboratory Education)
  • a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or comparable disciplines)
  • If you have a different degree, you can take part in an admission assessment to prove that you have relevant Bachelors-level qualifications.

Language qualification

Your English language proficiency is at least B2 on the CEFR or 6,5 on the IELTS.

Professional experience
You need laboratory research experience of at least 5 months to enrol in this course. You acquired this experience during your internships or work experience.

An internship placement position is a condition for taking the course.


Graduation Project

You finish your course with the graduation project, which is the final assessment of your knowledge and skills. This involves carrying out a project in applied research or product development for the organisation where you are working or doing a work placement.

During the project, you write a project plan and ensure that it is carried out. After completing your project, you write a report on the project results and reflect on its execution.

The final step is defending your project in front of a board of examiners and discussing aspects of the research/development and project management with a panel of experts. In this way, you show that you possess the competences to be able to function as the link between the lab and experienced project managers, and between the various experts involved in your projects.
