This programme will train you to become a journalist with in-depth academic knowledge in the field of Journalism Studies. The intensive training offers a solid foundation in the skills that are needed to succeed in modern journalism, while theoretical Journalism Studies courses will train you to reflect on the nature of journalism as a profession and stimulate critical thinking about the future of news reporting. The international Master’s programme builds on our well-established and highly successful Dutch-taught Master’s degree programme in Journalism.
The programme prepares you for:
a career in journalism (print, radio, television and internet)
a position as researcher in the public or private sector (academic or applied research)

other relevant positions with academic requirements

The selection procedure is based on a letter of motivation and curriculum vitae, a web-based assessment, evaluation of degree certificates and, if applicable, previous journalistic work. It may also include a phone or Skype interview.
