The International Business School (IBS) at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen (Hanze UAS)
prepares students from all over the world for careers in international business. Founded in 1988, IBS is the oldest International Business School in the Netherlands. Of the 900 students studying at IBS, more than half come from outside the Netherlands. The combination of a multi-cultural student body and our multicultural staff provides the ultimate international atmosphere. During this four-year Bachelor's degree students will study abroad at one of our many partner schools and complete work placements (one of them being their graduation project) in two companies. You can major in one of the following areas, each offering a wide range of career opportunities as management trainees around the world relating to your chosen major:

	International Marketing,
	International Management,
	International Finance & Accounting,
	International Travel & Tourism.
	Internationale Betriebswirtschaft: programme taught mainly in German, esp. in 1st year

Programme Outline
The first year covers two themes:
The Consultant and The Entrepreneur. In the second year you will specialize by choosing a major. Your third year will be based outside Hanze (UAS): one semester at one of our foreign-based partner universities (www.hanze.nl) and one semester on work placement in a country other than your country of origin. In the fourth year the focus will be on deepening your knowledge in relation to your major and your final graduation project.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Entry Requirements
Students with a secondary school diploma (i.e. (Fach)Hochschulreife) that qualifies them for entry to a university of applied sciences and who have a good command of English are eligible to apply for this degree programme.
