Practising your favourite sport or visiting a concert? What do you do in your spare time, what does ‘leisure’ mean to you?

We all want to experience exciting, unforgettable activities in our spare time, but leisure is a subjective experience and we all perceive it differently.

It all starts with the leisure manager.

As a leisure manager you create surprising leisure products and unforgettable experiences. Creativity is the essence of your work, but strictly directed planning, a well-conceived business plan and a substantiated budget are also important.
You work on developing new leisure products based on changing trends. You are responsible for marketing or, alternatively, you are busy organising a congress, an event or an exhibition. You find solutions using an integrated management approach. Your career is in an international environment and demands a cross-cultural perspective.

objectives
To educate, train and coach students to become a professional manager in the leisure industry; specifically in sports, events, culture and leisure project management.
