In the Master’s in International Economics and Business, you will focus on the behaviour, organisation and management of companies in an international economic context.

The Master’s programme in International Economics and Business provides you with an integrated approach to understanding the complex relationship between the internal organisation and behaviour of companies within an international economic environment; and how that environment reciprocally shapes the strategic behaviour and organisation of companies.

This one year taught Master’s consists of a common core, in which all students study International Business Ventures, Markets and Strategy, and Quantitative Methods; and specialisation tracks chosen to reflect your own interests. You will write a culminating Master’s thesis based on independent research, which can be completed in a variety of ways, including research at an external research institute, government agency or company.

Graduates of this programme are prepared for jobs at staff departments of international corporations and financial institutions; in policymaking departments of financial Ministries; and at international institutions such as the IMF, OECD, WTO or the European Union. Graduates also find jobs in line positions in private and public transnational organisations and are eligible for a PhD programme.
