The master's programme in European Public Affairs (EPA) provides advanced training for people interested in gaining expertise in European Union institutions and the decision-making processes. It is a selective, research-based, practice oriented programme, designed to give students and professionals an understanding of the complexity of Europe and the European Union and help you learn to reformulate intricate problems in manageable and achievable terms. This is a one-year programme taught in English and conducted in close cooperation with the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA.This programme commences in September and comprises of 60 ECTS.
objectives
The objective of this programme is to enable students to think in European terms, i.e. to become capable of collecting and processing information concerning the public domain in the EU and the EU member states. The basic principle of the learning process is to enhance the analytical skills in dealing with concrete issues and problems.
instruction modes
The programme offers an integrated curriculum on the basis of different educational methodologies. Each module is made up of four components, each with a specific purpose and education format: the workshp, expert seminars, skills training and debates.
