Global Health-Uni
 This programme emphasises the international dimensions of health and disease. It captures the need to work together to tackle health inequalities to improve health around the world.
Travel, trade and migration have made health an increasingly global issues. As a result, health inequalities both within and between countries are changing and increasing. There is thus an increasing demand for dynamic health leaders who can operate in today's global challenges. You will work in intercontinental teams with students at McMaster university in Canada, Thammasat University in Thailand and Manipal University in India and get the chance to meet them at an annual summit. Through virtual project work, you gain insight into different perspectives and the skills needed for cross-cultural collaboration. This is a one-year full-time programme taught in English. As part of the programme, you can follow a two-week elective track at one of the before mentioned partner universities.
This programma will give you:
- a solidd understanding of the complexities of global health and its relationships with technological innovation, global development, and different social, political and economic systems
- sound knowledge of the latest insights in human biology and their impact on the future of global health
- strong research and professional competences, i.e.. extensive knowledge of policy design, instruments and analysis, as well as project design, implementation and evaluatio
