Technical Medicine-Uni
Technical medicine answers to a growing need for medical practitioners with a strong science-background, who can integrate the influx of medical technology in patient-care. Technical medicine is a young up-and-coming study program which answers to a growing, but not yet crystallized, need for medical practitioners with a strong science-background, who are able to integrate the oncoming influx of high-quality medical technology in patient-care more rapidly and effectively than traditionally trained physicians.
The medical profession is a world full of tradition: each generation of medical practitioners is initiated by its predecessors into the secrets of the human body and all its disorders, as well as in the tried and tested ways of diagnosing and treating patients. Only those who have completed this six-year basic training, are considered to have mastered the art of healing, and can call themselves a ''physician''. This title authorizes them to handle a wide spectrum of medical treatment.
Those who have this title, also have the right to continue for another six years in order to gain a specialization (which inevitably means that much of the knowledge and skills already acquired, remain unused).
