Health Food Innovation Management-Uni
Health Food Innovation Management addresses the process of innovation in the food and beverage industry, with a specific focus on improving consumer health and healthy eating behaviour.
Through a multidisciplinary learning approach, you are trained to help transfer health science aspects into sound new products and marketing concepts. The programme deals with 1) the biomedical sciences, addressing the impact of nutrition on health and disease prevention, 2) consumer research in the area of health concerns and disease risks, 3) new technologies of ingredient extraction, modification, and processing, and 4) food regulatory/legal developments and health benefit claim possibilities. The objective is to train professionals who are able to bridge the gap between science and business management and foster innovation and entrepreneurship in real-life health food management. This is a two-year full-time programme taught in English at the Maastricht University satellite location in Venlo.
