Are you looking for an internationally-oriented programme in business administration with an emphasis on management, culture and organization? Then the new English-taught Bachelor track International Business Administration (IBA) is exactly the study programme for you.

Nowadays, companies and non-profit organizations all over the world experience a growing demand for a new kind of employees. Employees who are able to view organizations not only as a whole but who also able to do so from an international perspective. If you are aspiring an internationally-oriented career, you will have to be well-versed in international business administration and have proficient knowledge of international management, organization cultures and communication processes in organizations. After all, in times of globalization and increasing diversity in organizations, cross-cultural communication is getting important more and more.

While other business administration programmes focus on economics or technology, the Nijmegen business administration programme focuses on studying social processes in organizations. The accent is on how social processes affect the behaviour in and of organizations, and how they impact the performance and the realization of organizational goals. This English-taught specialization emphasizes international management, organization culture and communicative processes.

Who?
As an internationally-oriented and English-taught specialization, IBA is open for all students who wish to know more about business administration in an international perspective. During the International Business Administration programme, you will become knowledgeable about the social and international aspects of management, culture and organization. IBA prepares you both for an international career and for an academic Master degree. This choice is up to you!

What?
You will learn how to analyze organizational processes and to investigate how social developments are influencing eachother. IBA pays attention to the influence of cultural norms, values, rituals and customs on management and organizations. For instance, during your studies you will have courses like ''Cross-cultural Management'', ''International Business Ethics'', ''Organization and Environment''.

Going abroad
In order to gain international experience, you will engage in a study abroad for six months in the third year of your study. You will take the courses of your choice within the discipline(s) you are interested in at one of our partner universities. Or if you like, you can also do an internship abroad at a multinational or international organization. Whatever choice you make, this experience will provide you with the perfect opportunity to gain international experience and prepare you for a future international career.
