This four-year Bachelor Programme is offered by NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, which is located in the city of Breda, in the south of the Netherlands.

The disciplines of logistics and mobility are becoming more and more international. Goods flows are global and effectively managing these flows is crucial for every business that wants to be successful. Moreover, mobility plays an important role worldwide.

Every country has its share of traffic-related problems, like traffic jams or poor infrastructure. This study programme is centred around international case studies and subjects within the logistics and traffic management branch and is fully taught in English.

As a logistics expert you try to find, the best, cheapest and fastest way to produce and distribute products. In this programme you learn to find solutions to economic and finance related problems within the field of logistics.

Every business strives for smooth organisational processes in order to deliver a good product or render a first-class service. Are you the future manager who ensures that businesses achieve favourable results in the most efficient manner?

Whether it is about care, patient or event logistics, the production or distribution of goods, the possibilities as a logistics expert with an economic background are numerous.

A logistics expert is immune to stress, has good organisational skills, is able to keep an overall view of the situation, and he or she enjoys cooperating with colleagues in an international environment.

Contents and career planning
The first year is a combined year in which International Logistics and Economics students join International Traffic Management and International Logistics and Transport Management students in mixed classes. At the end of this year you can choose to pursue your studies in one of these three programmes.

During the second year you will follow courses such as Economics, Finance, Multimodal Transport, Trade and Transportation Law, Material Handling, Operations Research, Computerisation Techniques, Care Logistics, Communications, Physical Distribution, Production Logistics and Event Logistics.

The third year focuses on Marketing, Network Logistics, Logistics Information Systems, Simulation, Quality Management, Production Logistics and Port Logistics. All students perform two placements, each lasting 3 months.

In the fourth year you will gain in-depth knowledge on courses such as Physical Distribution, Economics, Finance, Business Management, Operations Management and Freight Transportation Research. In the second semester of the fourth year you will carry out a graduation project, covering 20 weeks.

Tuition fee
The tuition fee for BACHELOR PROGRAMMES is for EU students EURO 1.672,00 (except International Media and Entertainment Managament) and for non EU students EURO 7.295,00. The tuition fee for the master programmes Imagineering, European Tourism Management and Tourism Destination Management is EURO 8.422,00 regardless the country of origin. How to apply
If you want to apply for this Bachelor programme, you should have completed secondary school or secondary vocational education. Apart from that, if you are a non-native speaker of English, you have to show your proficiency in English through an IELTS test (minimum score 6.0) or TOEFL test (minimum score 550 paper-based or 213 computer-based).
The course always starts in September.
